Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a design engineering role
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SOLIDWORKS
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Creative ideation and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications
• Experience in product development and design optimization
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs and engineering solutions for our clients' projects
• Utilize CAD software, such as SOLIDWORKS, to create detailed drawings and 3D models for product development
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform analysis to ensure the manufacturability and functionality of designs
• Create and maintain design documents, including technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of components and materials
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize design performance and cost-efficiency
• Support the prototyping and testing/validation process to validate design concepts and troubleshoot any issues
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards in design engineering
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless transition from design to production
