Salary:$76000.00 to $112000.00

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providingsafe and effective Occupational Therapy services by implementingappropriate evaluation treatment and education designed to meet theidentified needs and functional goals of the patient. Communicateseffectively and professionally with patients families/caregiversand team members. Promotes teamwork.

Inpatient acute care therapist at a small (160 bed) Level2 trauma center working with a tightknit rehab team inclusive ofPT/OT/ST where quality care is emphasized and personal growth anddevelopment within the field are encouraged.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • A minimum of six(6) months of clinical OccupationalTherapist experience is preferred;

Licenses Certifications and/orRegistration:

  • A currentunencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license isrequired.
  • Healthcare Provider BLSrequired.

Shift:Days Full Time

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Therapy and Counseling Possess the skills andknowledge of principles methods and procedures for diagnosistreatment and rehabilitation of physical and cognitive conditions.Ability to provide counseling and guidance.
  • Business Writing Strong business writing skills includingthe ability to professionally communicate clinical content inwritten documentation that is easily understood by the enduser.
  • Communication Effective written and oralcommunication skills to explain complex issues exchange informationbetween team members and tactfully discuss issues. Ability toperform group presentations and listen to and understand complexinformation and ideas.
  • Team Building Abilityto work function and communicate on a multidisciplinary team.Possess the knowledge and skills to develop constructive andcooperative working relationships with others and maintain themover time.
  • Time Management Ability to organizeplan and prioritize work to complete within required time framesand to follow up on pending issues. Ability to perform multipletasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fastpaced environmentsand under pressure.
