Role:Data/Software Engineer TradeSurveillance

TheData/Software Engineer Trade Surveillance supports business expertsof the Compliance & Regulatory Reporting team in deliveringbespoke analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• WorkClosely with Business Analysts Business Experts and take ownershipto ensure the delivery of technical solutions.
• Developfunctional specification documents based on business requirementsdocumentation
• Supportand improve existing modelling platform and existingapplications.
• Ensurequality of inhouse build analytical applications ensuring theycomply with company's best practices and InternalControls
• BuildingModels and end to end analytical solutions and support the BusinessExperts in defining state of the art complianceanalytics
• Engage inrelevant aspects in operational excellence to foster post go liveand production efficiency for implementedsolutions.
• Contributein respective manner to the technical specifications’preparation for projects andenhancements.
• Collaboratewith other developers for integration development and efficientsolutiondelivery.
• Performquality assurance of delivery technical tests (unit/integration)preparation and support user acceptance testing and operationalenablement.
• Supportof go live and post go live of implementedsolutions.
• Settingup release pipelines for the deployment needs in differentenvironments (UATProd).
• Ensureutilization of modern state of the art cloudbased ITsolutions.
• Contributeto the improvement of existing capabilities with particularemphasis on utilising Streaming technologies andAI

Qualifications

Amust

• Expertisewith Cloud infrastructure preferably Microsoft AzureCloud
• Strongprogramming skills and coding experience Python; C# ASP.Net(Scala/Java anasset)
• Experiencewith software development following agilemethodologies
• In depthDatabase systems expertise Azure SQLSnowflake.
• Expertisein Data Integration Talend Azure Data Factory Snowpipes etc.
• Solidpractical experience of managing/administering deployedapplications
• Abilityto translate business requirements documentation to functionalspecification in alignment with the business analyst
• Workindependently and provide technical expertise to businessanalysts
• Experiencewith Azure DevOps Handson experience in creating CI/CDpipelines.
• Goodtrouble shooting & problemsolving skills (practicalexperience in a production supportenvironment).
• Collaborativeattitude and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders andteammembers
• Very goodinterpersonal and verbal/written English communicationskills
  (chairing operational meetings facilitatingworkshops preparing and sharingoutcomes)

• Knowledgeof streaming technologies and service like Databricks and SparkInflux dB ApacheKafka
