Job Description

An ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional experience serving in a similar role, and he or she will support the FP&A team with a focus on financial reporting and planning, month-end close, compliance, and analysis. The candidate must have a degree in the Accounting / Finance fields and highly organized in terms of time management and prioritization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly analysis to support analysis on actuals vs forecast. Provides monthly reporting of G&A costs to budget holders across different departments. Develop expertise in financial software to regularly update data and distribute financial reports. Creates reports to highlight trends and evaluate business performance against expectations and historical data. Collaborate with other team members in support of business unit operations requests. Supports Finance and Executive leadership by compiling and analyzing data to create business insights.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in an equivalent role Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Experience with SAP and Hyperion system Experience in Data Analysis and SQL Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Lookups, Pivot tables, etc.) Extreme attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and entrepreneurial desire to learn and grow. Team-oriented mentality and eagerness to ask questions and examine and enhance existing FP&A team processes. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with diverse groups agency-wide. Ability to think several steps ahead, plan accordingly, work well under pressure and meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced organization.
