Job descriptionWe are looking for a research analyst to join our team to support, maintain, and improve the sales pipeline for our clients.Nothing starts until we get a lead. A lead is then progressed through the sales process by the sales team to convert it into a deal. With targeted leads, sales can become a numbers game. The more leads we find and feed into the pipeline, the more deals we win.You will be responsible for constantly filling the sales pipeline with qualified leads and researched information for the sales team to work on and thereby keeping the sales personnel fully occupied in meaningful selling interactions to advance these leads through to win deals. It requires actively looking for, finding, researching, evaluating, and qualifying companies and contacts by a given criteria, and then handing over to sales team members to take next steps.
Here's the description of responsibilities:
  • Understand the ideal customer profile (ICP) and key qualification criteria (such as industry, employee size, revenue, country, and more) for our clients.
  • Research & find target companies through various online avenues (such as Crunchbase, industry directories, industry reports, internet searches, existing CRM data and more).
  • Understand the organization hierarchy and job titles at the target companies to identify key contacts.
  • Understand and execute the contact information research process via LinkedIn SalesNavigator, SalesQL, and other tools/databases.
  • Record all company and contact data (such as headquarter location, email, phone number, employee size, and more) in our internal database.
  • Review leads for minimum quality criteria and validate email info to reduce bounce.
  • Research existing contacts and companies for changes. Clean the existing lead data for accuracy, ensuring all existing leads have up to date contact and qualifying information.
  • Flag redundant or irrelevant data in CRM for leads that should not be pursued.
  • Setup and monitor outreach campaigns using best in class tools such as Woodpecker, Outreach.
  • Report on weekly performance and targets.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, provide lead generation ideas and undertake training as necessary.
  • Assist the sales team with ad hoc research requests, be a point of contact for the sales team to pass on preliminary information for researching, qualifying & adding into the database.

  • You have hands-on experience with MS excel or Google spreadsheet, you know how to work with formulas.
  • You have excellent communication skills ( Email, Chat, Video Calls)
  • You can deliver work FAST and on a deadline
  • You can quickly learn and apply new information as it relates to improving process
  • You have the ability to read between the lines to identify prospects that are a match
  • Bachelor's Degree, Sales or business related field is a plus
  • Preferably have experience in data gathering for marketing
  • Familiarity with databases, sales automation tools and CRMs is a plus.
