Dynamics of the Role

This role is for a Software Advisor that will operate as a core member of the Consumer Relationship Systems and Contact Center technologies team and will be responsible for enabling new features and optimizing strategic solutions within TransUnion’s contact center.

As a member of our technical leadership group, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build systems that are taking TransUnion’s contact center to the next level at global level. Success in this role requires a solid background in MuleSoft.

The Team’s Focus –

The Consumer Relations System (“CRS”) is a suite of applications & technical capabilities to enable consumers’ access to data, meet our regulatory obligations and generate revenue

Our technology stack includes AWS, Java applications, APIs & Services, Batch systems and capabilities built on Salesforce and MuleSoft.

How You Will Contribute

•Work with enterprise and domain architects to define the cloud strategy on AWS, while developing and designing proof-of-concepts and providing direction in the ultimate delivery of the services
•Participate in the effort to define and deliver integration solutions via the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for medium to large project.
•Work with solution architects to understand business requirements and translate into solutions that provide optimal user experience, particularly related to APIs
•Strong understanding and hands on experience in Core Java, JEE, Spring, Angular
•Skilled in translating complex technical concepts into high-level designs for development teams
•Working with a team of engineers that plans, designs, and develops customer software in an agile environment
•Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
•Effectively participate in an integration team of diverse individuals that are geographically dispersed through all project lifecycles. Be flexible to accommodate different time zones.
•Focused on improving our software delivery pipeline as we move down the CI/CD path

What You'll Bring:

What You Will Bring •3+ years' experience in Mulesoft•Demonstrated experience managing Agile Development teams within MuleSoft ecosystem for 3+ years.•Designing and developing APIs from specification to implementation in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform including Anypoint API Designer, Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint API Portal and Anypoint Studio•Experience with Spring framework (preferred), high volume and high concurrency applications•Strong proficiency in Java concepts and object modeling in a Linux environment and databases•Play a hands-on role in the development process including design, development and support of the applications•Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.•Ability to communicate technical or architecture concepts in a simple manner and can adapt to different audiences.•Experience navigating medium to large applications•Strong knowledge of technology and product trends, especially what is happening in open source, DevOps, and Big Data•Ability to manage vendors and contractors•MuleSoft certification is required
