MustHaves:

  • Should be certified AWSarchitect.

  • Good knowledge of cloud computingdelivery models (IaaS PaaS and SaaS) and deployment models relatedto Public Private and Hybrid Cloudservice

  • 4 years of relevant work experiencein solutions design and engineering Experience with Amazon WebServices or similar cloudplatform.

  • Strong automation developmentskills. Needs to be proficient in one or more automation languagesi. e. Ansible Cloud Formations Chef PuppetTerraform

  • Deep understanding of cloudcomponent architecture: Micro services Containers IaaS StorageSecurity Knowledge of routing/switchingtechnologies

  • Participate in deep architecturaldiscussions to build confidence and ensure customer success whenbuilding new and migrating existing applications software andservices on the AWSplatform.

  • Capture and share bestpracticeknowledge amongst the AWS SAcommunity.

  • Author or contribute to AWScustomerfacing publications such as whitepapers tutorialsetc.

  • Technical liaison between customersservice engineering & supportteams.

JobDescription:

  • Experienced technologistswith technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. This includesenabling innovation through continuous deployment in DevOps w/technologies like Chef and Puppet building web & mobilescaleout applications using Memcached or Redis RDBMS (MySQL AWSAurora Oracle SQL Server and Postgres) and/or NoSQL (AWS DynamoDBMongoDB and Cassandra) data stores building IoT use cases andimplementing big data analytics w/ technologies like Hadoop SparkEMR RedShift andKinesis.

  • SAs must have breadth acrosstechnology stacks with deep handson skills. SAs build architectures& provide prescriptive guidance across network storageoperating systems virtualization RDBMS & NoSQL databasesmidtier technologies that include application integration inmemorycaches and security.

  • Must be self motivated with a proventrack record of delivering results in software/technology sales orconsulting. You will have a demonstrated ability to thinkstrategically about business create technical definition aroundcustomer objectives in complex situations develop solutionstrategies motivate & mobilize resources and deliverresults. The ability to connect technology with measurable businessvalue is critical to a solutionsarchitect.

  • The SA team provides a rampingprogram that includes selfpaced learning instructorled traininghandson projects job shadowing opportunities and a peerreviewedopportunity to demonstrate yourknowledge.

Roles andResponsibilities:

  • Partner with the Productand Development teams to design solutions for customers drive AWSadoption and revenue.


BasicQualification:

  • 7 years design &implementation experience with distributedapplications

  • 4 years experience in networking;infrastructure or databasearchitecture

  • Working knowledge of softwaredevelopment tools andmethodologies

  • Technical degree required ComputerScience or Math backgrounddesired


PreferredQualification:

  • 3 yearssoftware/technology customer facingexperience

  • Experience with onpremises to cloudmigrations or ITtransformations

  • Experience architecting/operatingsolutions build on AWS

  • Presentation skills with a highdegree of comfort speaking with executives IT Management anddevelopers

  • Excellent communication skills withan ability to right levelconversations

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to newtechnologies and learnquickly.
