Role Overview

We are looking for a Financial Controller who is more than just an accountant—you will be a builder of systems, a driver of processes, and a guide for financial operations. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, drive automation, manage compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The role offers an exciting growth opportunity, with the potential to advance to a CFO/VP position as we scale.



Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (VAT/GST, corporate tax, etc.) across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

2. Automation & Process Optimization

  • Collaborate with the tech team to automate finance workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Implement scalable financial processes to support company growth.
  • Continuously optimize and refine financial operations using the latest tools and technologies.

3. Strategic Financial Management

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
  • Provide advanced financial analysis and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on financial strategies and risk management.

4. Leadership & Collaboration

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the finance team.
  • Act as a financial liaison   , supporting other departments like Sales, Marketing, and HR with insights and guidance.
  • Build robust financial policies and controls to ensure sustainability and scalability.
