You will be part of the team that edits andpublishes highly engaging sports content from writers across theworld. We operate in an extremely competitive environment wherequality and being first to market are paramount. This team is ourfirst and last line of defense delivering on our brand promise thatSportskeeda is home to the most engaging and premium sportscontent.

We expect the candidate to havedeep knowledge and understanding of USSports.

Fakenews sensationalism plagiarism and unreliable reports areincreasing in frequency in sports and across the content industry.You will be quick on the foot and will be an expert in eliminatingtheselandmines.

Youwill remain objective and yet have ideas to mentor and fosterwriters and drive positive change concerningquality.

Thisis a handson role and we need someone fast accurate and has strongjudgment.

Thecandidate will have the following keyresponsibilities:

  • The candidate will be expected toedit 350400 articles permonth.
  • Meet quality targets for accuracyand speed and continually contribute to improving teamperformance.
  • Exercise objectivity and displaystrong judgment skills in approving and rejectingtopics.

  • We expect the candidate to have deepknowledge and understanding of US Sports(NBA NFLMLBetc)
  • Impeccable grammar and punctuation andcommand over the language.
  • Selfmotivated and focused on meetingdeadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be a quicklearner.

referred EducationQualification: B.Tech/BCA/BE and equivalent. Required Experience& Qualification: 2 to 3 years. Skills: Effective communicationskills including a solid understanding of English grammar andprofessional writing ability. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office /Google Doc, sheet (particularly Microsoft Word, Google sheet andDoc). Good understanding of SEO and content management systems.Ability to work with large data sets. An ability to effectivelymulti-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. Outstanding ability tothink creatively, and identify and resolve problems. Self-motivatedand enjoys working in a fast-paced and results-driven Stronganalytical skills and ability to understand, report and act ondata. Innovative, inquisitive and effective problem solver.Communication to team on project development, timelines, andresults Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordinationwith elements and structure of websites and web pages Report to SEOTeam Leads with successes, progress and project completion. BasicKnowledge of HTML. Ability to work on CMS to publish the content onthe pages and fix the basic on page issues like Title, Description,Heading ( H1 to H6) , anchor text etc. The person should know howto do text formatting, table formatting and implementation ofsuperscripts and subscript in Google doc as well as in Microsoftword.
