JobSummary:

We are seeking a highly motivated anddetailoriented Data Governance Analyst to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a strong understanding of data governanceprinciples and handson experience with data governance toolsparticularly Alation and Monte Carlo. In this role you will beresponsible for implementing and maintaining data governanceprocesses and frameworks leveraging these tools to ensure dataquality compliance and overall data managementexcellence.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data governance policiesstandards and procedures.

Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to define and enforce data governance bestpractices.

Conduct data quality assessmentsidentify data issues and implement remediation plans.

Utilize Alations data catalog capabilities to enhance datadiscovery and data lineage.

Leverage Monte Carlofor

Establish and monitor data governancemetrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Work closely with data stewards and data owners to ensurecompliance with data governance policies and standards.

Provide training and guidance to endusers on datagovernance practices and tools.

Collaborate withIT teams to integrate Alation and Monte Carlo with other datamanagement and analytics platforms.

Stay up todate with industry trends and emerging technologies in datagovernance and recommend improvements to the data governanceprogram.

Year of exp: 69years

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Systems or a related field. A masters degree is aplus.

Proven experience (3Yrs) in datagovernance roles preferably with handson experience usingAlation/Profisee/Collibra/Monte Carlo.

Goodunderstanding of modern enterprise data management (Data LakehouseData Democratization Data Observability etc.) leveraging cloud dataplatforms such as Databricks Snowflake PowerBI Azure Dataplatform

Strong understanding of data governanceprinciples data management best practices and industry standards(e.g. GDPR CCPA).

Familiarity with datacataloging data lineage and data quality concepts.

Proficiency in SQL for data querying andanalysis.

Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with theability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctionalteams.

Selfmotivated and able to workindependently as well as in a teamoriented collaborativeenvironment.

Certifications in data governancedata management or related fields are a plus.

Knowledge of Airlines domain is a plus.
