Overview:The dataengineer plays a crucial role in our organization responsible fordesigning developing and maintaining our data architecture andinfrastructure. They will collaborate with data scientists analystsand other stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow and storage ofdata across our systems. The data engineer will also beinstrumental in implementing and optimizing data pipelines for ETLprocesses data modeling and analyticsapplications.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Design build andmaintain scalable data pipelines and ETLprocesses
  • Develop and optimize data models andschemas
  • Implement and manage data storagesolutions
  • Ensure data quality and integritythrough validation and testing
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to understand datarequirements
  • Identify and resolve performanceand scalability issues
  • Automate datarelatedprocesses and workflows
  • Monitor and optimizedata infrastructure for reliability andefficiency
  • Stay updated with the latesttechnologies and best practices in dataengineering
  • Contribute to the development ofdata governance and securitypolicies
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or relatedfield
  • Proven experience in data engineering orrelated roles
  • Expertise in SQL and databasemanagement systems
  • Proficiency in programminglanguages such as Python Java or Scala
  • Handsonexperience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop SparkKafka)
  • Strong understanding of ETL processesand tools
  • Ability to design and optimize datamodels for performance andscalability
  • Experience with cloudbased dataplatforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP)
  • Knowledge ofdata warehousing concepts andtechniques
  • Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills
  • Good communication and teamcollaboration abilities
  • Understanding of datagovernance and complianceregulations
  • Experience with DevOps practicesand tools is a plus
  • Certifications in dataengineering or related fields areadvantageous
