As an Offshore Assistant Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our offshore facilities. You will work closely with the mechanical team to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior mechanics in performing scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including but not limited to engines, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
  
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform corrective actions as needed.
  
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory.
  
• Participate in emergency response drills and procedures as required.
  
• Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
  
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in an offshore or marine environment.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  
• Willingness to work in remote offshore locations and on a rotational schedule.
  
• Valid offshore survival and medical certifications preferred.
  
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software systems.
