Grouting Engineer

The following Job Description pertains to a grouting Engineer

1. Coordinate all grouting, ground treatment, and related activities for tunnels as per technical requirements.

2. Monitoring and observation of drilling and grouting parameters during drilling, Lugeon test, and grouting for Curtain and consolidation grouting (Curtain grouting: a row of vertically drilled holes grouted with pressurized grout, The holes are drilled at such intervals and in such a way that they may cross each other to create a curtain.

 Consolidation grouting: grouting is done to strengthen the surrounding rock mass by grouting with the technical parameters like Hole depth, stop-start information, Cement water ratio, grouting data, and the hydraulic Parameters (like pressure, Stop criteria, and basic properties of Bingham materials, e.g., viscosity, density, bleeding)).

3. Maintaining the essential levels of safety and quality of the work.

4. To provide the necessary training to the operators and workers regarding the significance of the drilling and Grouting technique employed, equipment, and supplies.

5. Review technical specifications, and raise a technical query if any.

6. Deciding the priority and allocating resources accordingly for achieving the measures and other common requirements of activity planning & materials management.
