In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects for digital health companies. You will be responsible for building dynamic and end-to-end software products and applications, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and providing technical expertise throughout the development process.

As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving technical decisions and ensuring the scalability, performance, reliability, and security of our applications. You will also have the opportunity to lead agile practices for development and quality delivery, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to manage project timelines.

Requirements

What does this job entail?

Engineering Outcomes

  • Build dynamic, end-to-end, and innovative software products and applications.
  • Work with databases, servers, APIs, version control systems, and third-party apps.
  • Identify anti-patterns and implement improvement plans to ensure the application's scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Driving technical decisions and ensuring that software development processes and best practices are followed.
  • Lead agile practices for development and quality delivery.
  • Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, approaches, and architectures in the development world.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage project timelines.
  • Driving technical projects and providing leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Lead, motivate and mentor team members in achieving project and organizational goals

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in developing solutions
  • Proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and common web development tools & services
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices including automated testing, continuous integration, and automated deployments
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and building cloud-native applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a similar IT field
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
