Overview:The role of aData Sciences Web Analytics professional is crucial to theorganizations digital strategy and decisionmaking processes. Thisindividual will be responsible for analyzing web data to extractvaluable insights identify trends and optimize online userexperiences.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop andmaintain web analytics infrastructure and reportingsystems.
  • Monitor and analyze web traffic userbehavior and conversion rates.
  • Utilizestatistical and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns andcorrelations in web data.
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to understand business requirements andtranslate them into actionable analyticssolutions.
  • Design and implement A/B andmultivariate testing to optimize website and marketingperformance.
  • Create dashboards andvisualizations to communicate key insights tostakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities forimproving user experience website performance and digital marketingeffectiveness.
  • Conduct deepdive analysis onspecific user segments and behaviorpatterns.
  • Implement tracking mechanisms andtags for web and digital marketingcampaigns.
  • Stay current with industry bestpractices and emerging trends in webanalytics.
  • Translate data findings intoactionable recommendations andstrategies.
  • Collaborate with software and webdevelopment teams to implement tracking and data collectionprocesses.
  • Perform adhoc analysis and reportgeneration as necessary.
  • Communicate findingsand recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of theorganization.
  • Ensure data accuracy reliabilityand consistency.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors or advanceddegree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in web analytics anddigital marketing analysis.
  • Proficiency inPython R or other statistical analysissoftware.
  • Expertise in using web analyticsplatforms such as Google Analytics Adobe Analytics or similartools.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extractionand manipulation.
  • Experience with datavisualization tools such as Tableau Power BI orsimilar.
  • Understanding of statistical analysisexperimental design and A/B testingmethodologies.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and databases.
  • Excellent communication andpresentation skills.
  • Keen attention to detailand problemsolving abilities.
  • Familiarity withdigital marketing concepts andstrategies.
  • Knowledge of web development andtagging implementations.
  • Ability to workindependently and as part of a collaborativeteam.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinkingskills.
  • Understanding of machine learning andpredictive modeling is aplus.
