JobOverview

We are looking for a QA AutomationEngineer to join our team of IT professionals. In this role youwill be suggesting ideas for automated software test procedures.Besides you will be highlighting problem areas and tracking bugsthat hinder software installation.

You will alsobe designing and installing software databases. As a QA AutomationEngineer you will be liaising with the Developers and ProjectManagers to identify and test key features of software programs.Apart from testing you should be able to develop wellplanned andstructured test plans/cases.

You will beinvestigating the causes of nonconforming software programs. Youshould be detailoriented and possess excellent troubleshootingabilities. If you have a strong technical background and canstreamline all testing activities then we would love to have you onboard.

Responsibilities
  • Planningand prioritizing testingactivities
  • Coordinatingwith the Design team to discuss verificationprotocols
  • Helping identifyweaknesses and problem areas in the softwareapplication
  • Suggestingautomated software testprocedures
  • Trackingsoftware bugs and investigating thecauses
  • Pointing outproblem areas
  • Preparingautomationscripts
  • Communicating withthe QA Engineer to implement softwareapplications
  • Designing andhandling the installation of softwaredatabases
  • Troubleshootingautomation softwareissues
  • Coordinating withthe System Analyst to finalize systemprocedures
  • Creating testplans and cases
  • Preparingdetailed test reports
  • Prioritizing andexecuting tests
  • Reviewingtechnical specifications and design documents
  • Conducting regressiontesting whenneeded
  • Monitoringassurance metrics and processresults
Requirements
  • Bachelorsdegree in Software Engineering Computer Science InformationTechnology orrelated
  • Previous workexperience as a QA Engineer QA Tester or relevant position in theIT department
  • Completeunderstanding of automation systems anddatabases
  • Knowledge ofprogramming languages like JavaScript HTML andCSS
  • Basic knowledge ofscripting and other relatedprocedures
  • Expertise inautomation testing tools like Selenium Katalon Studio andCucumber
  • Understanding oftesting protocols
  • Knowhowof different types of testing methods like white box and black boxtesting
  • Familiarity withthe software developmentprocess
  • Good analyticaland troubleshootingskills
