Lam Research is a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment used in making leading-edge-semiconductors across the world. We primarily compete in four specific areas – Deposition, Etch, Photoresist strip, and Single wafer clean.

Many years back, Lam Research embarked on a journey to set up engineering center in Bangalore to expand its reach to Indian talent pool. Over the decade, this center expanded its capability and scope beyond hardware and software engineering to global manufacturing, supply chain operations and other shared services. One of the major functional groups of this entity is LIGHT (Lam India Global Hardware Technology). LIGHT has completed more than a decade of growth and has emerged as a major new product development and sustaining engineering team for Lam’s global engineering footprint.

Technical Program Management (TPM) Team is a centralized team at LIGHT. The charter of the group is to implement and drive programs that enable technical and business process improvements at Lam Research. TPM will collaborate with different product groups within LIGHT to manage the program including initiating, execution, tracking, and reporting progress. This position is based out of Bangalore and is expected to work from office for a minimum of 3 days in a week

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical (or related disciplines) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience

Job Responsibilities

Develop a clear business case for programs Follow structured problem-solving techniques to identify root cause and propose solutions Plan and manage program milestones, ensure adherence to timelines. Take appropriate actions to measure progress and meet the schedule. Prepare and present project updates at reviews Summarize the project results and identify lessons learned Drive development of automation solutions for engineering and business processes

Mandatory Skills

Minimum 3 years' experience in end-to-end Program management of technical programs. Strong knowledge of Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures. Strong decision-making skills and ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems Strong Project Management skills (planning, monitoring & control, risk management, stakeholder management) Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus. Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2. Knowledge of Change Management methodologies is a plus.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
