We are seeking aknowledgeable and experienced individual to lead our LithiumionBattery Technology department responsible for Product DevelopmentDesign and R&D. The successful candidate will spearheadresearch development and implementation efforts to advance ourbattery technology. This role requires expertise inlithiumion battery chemistry materials science manufacturingprocesses and innovation to drive our organization's goalsforward.

JobDescription:
  • Lead theresearch and development of advanced lithiumion batterytechnologies to improve performance safety andcosteffectiveness.
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to define project goals timelines anddeliverables.
  • Stay current withindustry trends emerging technologies and competitive landscape todrive innovation and maintain a competitiveedge.
  • Oversee the designand optimization of battery materials cell architectures andmanufacturingprocesses.
  • Manage the executionof battery testing and validation protocols to ensure compliancewith industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Mentor and coach teammembers fostering a culture of continuous learning collaborationand excellence.
  • Develop strategicpartnerships with external organizations research institutions andsuppliers to leverage expertise andresources.
  • Drive technologytransfer from R&D to production ensuring scalabilityefficiency andreliability.
  • Evaluate intellectualproperty landscape and contribute to patent strategydevelopment.
  • Communicateeffectively with senior management providing regular updates onproject status milestones and strategicdirection.
  • Leadership andrepresentation : Attend important client / investor meetings anddefend technical capabilities of thecompany.
  • Project Management :Manage multiple projects running concurrently to be delivered ontime with declared acceptancecriteria.
  • Equipment Acquisition: Help companies to identify relevant equipment industrial softwareand solutions to keep the purchase decisions sound and accurate toavoid underutilized equipment and unnecessaryexpenses.
  • Validation andcertification : Ensure products get certified with respect tovarious compliance requirements like AIS UN38.3etc
Qualificationcriteria and skills :
  • BE Mech /Electrical/ Electronics MTech / MBA or PhD would be anadvantage
  • Experience: 1020years of experience minimum 4 years experience in electric vehiclesbattery space min 4 years experience in Lead NPDrole.
  • Extensive knowledgeof product development methodologies software’s CAD CAEPLM etc
  • Patents and paperspublished would be an addedadvantage.
  • Should have managed ateam of min 15 R&D engineers andmanagers.
  • Open to travelnational and international. International exposure/workingexperience is aplus.
  • Open to working inthe city: of Bangalore and visiting manufacturing facilities whenneeded.
