Senior VP of Finance

Location:Bangalore

As the Senior Vice President ofFinance you will play a pivotal role in the companys financialleadership team. This position requires an accomplished financeexecutive with a strong background in managing finance teamsdriving financial strategy and ensuring robust financialoperations. You will work closely with the senior management anddirectly report to the CEO to ensure operations remain on track tohit milestones. You get to conduct brainstorming sessions on aregular basis with the CEO and COO along with senior management tobuild and deploy financial models complex financial strategies fundflow models and roadmaps.

Requirement:

Financial Strategy andPlanning:
Develop a robust financial strategy alignedwith the companys goals.
Create detailed financialmodels projecting revenue expenses and cash flow.
Workon scenario analysis to assess the impact of different variables onfinancial outcomes.

FundraisingPreparation:
Assess the current financial health anddetermine the fundraising requirements.
Develop acompelling business case for investors emphasizing growth potentialand profitability.
Strengthen relationships withexisting investors and explore new funding sources.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Ensureaccurate and transparent financial reporting.
Implementor enhance financial controls and compliance processes (Credit/concessions policy commissions policy bonus policy etc)
Prepare the organization for increased scrutiny and reportingrequirements as it moves towards an IPO.


Budgeting and Cost Management:
Streamline budgeting processes and establish costcontrols.
Identify areas for cost optimization withoutcompromising growth.
Communicate financial goals andexpectations to relevant departments.

Accounting and Tax:
Ensure compliance with accountingstandards (US GAAP) especially in terms of revenuerecognition.
Establish clear guidelines for recognizingSaaS subscription revenue and fintech revenue.
Providetransparent communication to stakeholders on revenue recognitionpolicies.
Manage audits and associatedprocesses.

Revenue A/R and CollectionsOperations
Ensure collections are matching the reportedLive ARR and if not have revenue leakage detection mechanisms inplace to track and fix.
Have accurate collectionsforecasting.Risk Management:
Evaluate and mitigatefinancial and operational risks.
Develop contingencyplans for potential challenges.
Establish riskmanagement protocols and ensure the company is adequatelyinsured.
Foster a culture of collaboration andaccountability within the finance team.

Technology and Systems:
Evaluate and enhance financialsystems and technologies for scalability.
Implementtools that aid in financial analysis reporting andcompliance.
Ensure data security and privacycompliance

Talent and TeamBuilding:
Assess the finance and accounting teamscapabilities and make necessary adjustments.
Hire ordevelop talent to support the companys financial goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degreein Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or CPApreferred.
Proven experience as a finance leader in aglobal B2B SaaS environment.
Experience in building andmanaging large teams.
Demonstrated success in managingfinance teams and driving financial strategy.
Experiencewith IPO preparation and execution is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial accounting budgeting and FP&Aprocesses.
Excellent leadership communication andinterpersonal skills.
