Our prestigious client a nearly 100 yearold US MNC a world leader in manufacturing of heavy constructionand mining machineries is hiring in their Cost accounting functionat staff accountnant and decision supportlevel..
Idealcandidates will have experience in manufacturing domain in costingsystems product costing NPI DCF Normals & machine rate andanalysis standard costingetc.
Qlfnand EXP: Requires a certified accountant (CA/CMA) with collegedegree in accounting and 35 years of experience in cost accountingpreferably in a manufacturingenvironment.

Fromthe outset incumbent will be expected to be a contributingperformer doing staff level accounting work that supports businessprocesses. Additionally this position will:Gain an understanding of Caterpillar s business and accountingpractices systems and procedures. Learn anddevelop skills which result from the practical application of basicaccounting knowledge and Aid a project team or others in the workgroup.
Possibleareas of responsibility are variedincluding: Cost systemmaintenance New product Introduction (NPI)comprehensive support which includes determining discounted cashflow (DCF) and Internal rate of return of differentprojects Normals & machine ratedevelopment Abnormals identification& reporting Prime product and/orcomponent cost monitoring & analysisOperations and/or product group budgeting and expenseanalysis Capital expenditure forecasting andreporting Standard and current cost griefresolution Support management with analysisfor decision making in various projects and cost reductionprograms
PreferredAdditional skills: Goodaccounting background thorough knowledge of accounting flow andrelated methods of recording in the General Ledger and knowledge inSAP environment (FI MM & COModule)Effective communications skills and agood understanding of computer systems especially in MSOffice andFinancial Analytics Tool (Power BI Tableau Power Apps.etc.).
