Our Connect Technology teams are working on our new Connect platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on Connect data and insights to innovate and grow. 

As a Mid Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and supporting cutting-edge technologies such as Pyspark, Kubernetes, Airflow, Cloud Automation. These technologies are deployed using DevOps pipelines leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Bitbucket/Git.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

Develop new user-facing dashboards which will differentiate our product and solve industry-wide CPG pricing and promotion challenges. 

Implement machine-learning approaches to predict the impact of CPG pricing and promotions strategies. 

Integrate dashboards into SaaS cloud platform. 

Continually investigate and adopt new open-source business intelligence libraries that will further differentiate our dashboard capabilities and wow-factor. 

Evolve Kubernetes cloud-native infrastructure 

Optimize dashboards for maximum speed and scalability 

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders 

Qualifications

3 to 5 years in front-end web development is preferred 

Proficient understanding of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS 

Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Postgres database is beneficial. 

Understanding of Kubernetes and Cloud-Native Architecture 

Good understanding of open-source libraries that bring data to life using HTML, SVG and CSS including but not limited to D3 (Data-driven documents) and Slickgrid. 

Proficient understanding of code versioning including git. 

Good to have experience on retail Domain. 

Working knowledge in Microsoft Azure

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly 

Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business

Minimum degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
