Sr Staff Application Engineer

Job Description
Design and develop complex electronic systems design flows, including chips, boards, and 3DIC structures. Utilize advanced simulation tools for EM, IR, SI, PI, Thermal for design simulation flows. Define, Spec out and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems design tools.. Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure adherence to industry standards. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and engineers. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in electronic design and simulation tools. Work with customers, developers and validation engineers to define and spec out flows, methodologies.
Qualifications
B.S. required (M.S. preferred) in electronics/computer engineering or computer science disciplines Understanding of SI/PI/EM/IR/Thermal Management and Circuit simulation. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic systems design, including chip, PCB and 3DIC design flows. Proficiency in board design and experience with industry-standard multi-physics and circuit simulation tools. Strong understanding of electronic hardware design principles and methodologies. Ability to find solutions to customer problems and drive development teams for robust solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
