Procurement Department ManagerAbout the Opportunity:
KBR is looking for a Procurement Manager as part of the Integrated Solutions division to lead the Procurement Department in Chennai. We are looking for an experienced People Manager in the provision of procurement services to energy projects from concept to completion. This diverse position will lead a team of supply chain professionals and subject matter experts providing a range of services to KBR’s clients. The position is responsible for input into KBR bids and proposals as well as overall responsibility for the Procurement function across existing projects and teams.
The role will be based in our Chennai office on an average of 3 days per week, the rest of the time can be managed to suit your agile working needs subject to role requirements.
What You'll be Doing:
Directly responsible for the oversight of the Procurement team. Manages resource demands across multiple projects supporting numerous geographical locations. Accountable for the overall identification and development of Procurement resources in line with business requirements. Accountable for the recruitment of the team and monitoring the performance. Responsible for procurement deliverables across assigned Revenue project and corporate activities. Interface and provide status of deliverables to Project Management Teams globally. Assisted by subject matter experts supports the development, implements, and enforces the compliance of company global procurement and materials policies. Is accountable for the training, performance and results of the supply chain discipline. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing support and direction. Manages the write up for bids and proposals, takes active part in procurement strategy for the project, including man hour estimates. Guides the development of functional strategy and is responsible for processes and procedures. Collaborates on the execution of departmental goals with other functional leaders to achieve business objectives. Lead Procurement teams on one or more project as Project Procurement Manger. Interfaces with complete KBR company on systems & work processes.What you will need:
Al least 10 years Project experience from concept to completion Oil and Gas industry experience is required Large project experience as a Project Procurement Manager, leading a team of Supply Chain professionals. Experience across range of contract models (including lump Sum and fully reimbursable). Full supply chain expertise. Expert collaborator across multiple discipline and international offices. Client facing experience. Degree educated or equivalent Previous KBR experience preferred.KBR COMPANY INFORMATION
