Qualification:LLB LLM MBA Finance Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)certificationInsurance qualification:Fellowship or Chartered qualification in insurance FCIIACII.Overview: We are seeking a highlyqualified and experienced individual to join ourteamas a Financial Lines InsuranceSpecialist. The ideal candidate will possess astrongeducational background in law andfinance coupled with extensive experience inbothbanking and insurance particularly inthe realm of financial lines insurance. Therolerequires a deep understanding of legaland financial principles coupled withexcellentanalytical skills and the abilityto mitigate riskseffectively.
KeyResponsibilities:

1.Analyze and assess risks associated with financial lines insuranceproductsincluding Credit insurance Directorsand Officers insurance ProfessionalIndemnity(PI) insurance and Cyber Liabilityinsurance.2. Develop and implement riskmanagement strategies to protect clientsfinancialassets and mitigate potentialliabilities.3. Collaborate with underwritersactuaries and legal professionals tostructureinsurance policies that meet thespecific needs of clients.4. Conductthorough legal and financial due diligence on prospective clientsandtheir operations to identify potentialrisks and liabilities.5. Provide expertadvice and guidance to clients on insurance coverageoptionspolicy terms and regulatorycompliance.6. Review and negotiate insurancecontracts endorsements and policy wordingstoensure clarity and alignment withclients' interests.7. Monitorindustry trends regulatory changes and emerging risks in thefinancialservices sector to adapt insuranceofferings accordingly.8. Liaise with claimsmanagement teams to facilitate the timely resolutionofinsurance claims anddisputes.9. Serve as a subject matter experton financial lines insurance productsdeliveringtraining sessions andpresentations to internal teams and clients asneeded.10. Maintain strong relationshipswith clients brokers and other stakeholderstodrive business growth andretention.
Qualifications:

1.Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) degrees fromaccreditedinstitutions.2.Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization inFinance orrelatedfield.3. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)certification
4.Fellowship or Chartered qualification in insurance (e.g. FIIACII).5. Minimum of 6 years of experience inthe banking industry with a focus oncreditdivision operations and riskmanagement.6. Extensive experience in theinsurance sector particularly in financiallinesinsurance products such as creditinsurance PI and Cyber Liability.7. Proventrack record of successfully structuring and underwritingcomplexinsurancetransactions.8. Strong understanding oflegal and regulatory frameworks governingfinancialservices and insuranceindustries.9. Excellent analytical skillsand attention to detail with the ability to assessandmitigate riskseffectively.10. Exceptional communicationand interpersonal skills with the ability tobuildrapport and trust with clients andstakeholders.
