JobOverview:

We are seeking anexperienced Oracle DBA with Cloud experience to join our dynamicteam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installationconfiguration maintenance and performance of critical OracleDatabase systems ensuring high availability and consistentperformance. This role will involve working closely with ourdevelopment and operations teams to design and implement databasesolutions in cloud environments.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Install configure and maintain Oracle database servers incloud environments.
  • Ensure the availabilityand performance of Oracle databases that support oursystems.
  • Perform database tuning andperformance monitoring.
  • Plan and implementbackup and recovery strategies for the database.
  • Manage and support database replication and highavailability features.
  • Conduct databasesecurity management and ensure compliance with securitypolicies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolvedatabaserelated issues.
  • Collaborate withdevelopment teams to design and optimize databaseschemas.
  • Implement and maintain databasepatches and upgrades.
  • Monitor database systemsand proactively address potential issues.
  • Provide oncall support as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technology or related field.
  • 5years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle database administrationin cloud environments such as AWS Azure or Oracle Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g 12c and 19c.
  • Proficient in database performance tuning andoptimization.
  • Experience with backup recoveryand disaster recovery solutions.
  • Familiaritywith Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and DataGuard.
  • Handson experience with PL/SQL and SQLscripting.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix operatingsystems.
  • Experience with cloud databaseservices and tools.
  • Excellent problemsolvingand analytical skills.
  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills.
  • Oracle DBAcertification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation tools such asAnsible Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledgeof other database technologies (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) is aplus.
  • Experience with DevOps practices andtools.
