Responsibilities:

  • Readtechnical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with theseblueprints
  • Use computer software tomodel cutting paths and program machinesaccordingly
  • Perform qualityassurance tests to ensure products meet designspecifications
  • Adjust machinecutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintainingquality
  • Consider tools required tocut particular materials and program machinesaccordingly
  • Troubleshoot and resolveproblems with machines as theyarise
  • Perform basic machinemaintenance such as cleaning andsharpening
  • Train new employees onhow to properly operate CNC machines andprograms

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand forextended periods.
  • Ability to liftheavy objects.
  • Ability to workafterhours whenrequired.
