As a Software Engineer-II you will have a pivotal role in enabling and shaping this transformation.
The Full stack Software Engineer-II designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software primarily using Java, REST API, Typescript and Angular.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Understands end user requirements

Writes commercial/enterprise grade software

Provides input on designs for software enhancements and new products

Demonstrates ability to identify presence of code problems and bring to attention to senior engineers for resolution

Documents and communicates on technical topics without direction

Seeks to shadow other Engineers; working to debug customer issues

Works under limited direction of a manager and/or team lead to implement software enhancements, correct defects and/or create new products

Understands hardware and software systems

Self-directed in learning of the application subject matter

Shows proficiency at programming within a team

Team oriented, collaborative, accountable, anddependable

Respondsto learning suggestionsand feedbackpositively

Required Qualifications: 

Minimum of 2 - 5 years of software engineering experience

Proven track record of software development in the real world

Proficient in Java, REST API, Angular, Spring Boot, Data Structures and, Algorithms.

Operating systems: required Windows/Unix, optional z/OS

Preferred Qualifications:

Works well in a team; team oriented, collaborative, accountable, dependable

Reliable and accountable for one’s work

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related field
