Overview:The NDTTechnician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safetyof materials and components in various industries. They areresponsible for conducting nondestructive testing (NDT) to identifyflaws or defects without causing damage to the testedmaterial.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Perform NDTinspections using various techniques such as ultrasonic testingmagnetic particle testing radiographic testing and visualinspection.
  • Interpret and evaluate NDT resultsto determine the status of the inspected material orcomponent.
  • Prepare detailed NDT reportsdocumenting inspection results andfindings.
  • Collaborate with engineering andquality assurance teams to address any identified issues and ensurecompliance with specifications.
  • Maintain NDTequipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of testresults.
  • Adhere to safety protocols andregulations while performing NDTinspections.
  • Provide training and guidance tojunior NDT personnel.
  • Conduct research and stayupdated on advancements in NDT technology andtechniques.
  • Participate in the development andoptimization of NDT procedures.
  • Communicateeffectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding NDTprocesses and results.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inEngineering Materials Science or relatedfield.
  • Certification in NDT methods such asultrasonic testing magnetic particle testing and radiographictesting.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience inNDT inspections and testing fresher can alsoapply
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpretingNDT results and identifying defects.
  • Strongknowledge of relevant industry standards andregulations.
  • Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills.
  • Effective communication andteamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in NDTequipment operation and maintenance.
  • Attentionto detail and accuracy in reporting anddocumentation.
  • Commitment to upholding qualityand safety standards in NDTpractices.
