Job Summaryand nbsp;The candidate will be accountablefor the organizations finance operations including the productionof periodic financial reports maintenance of an adequate system ofaccounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgetsdesigned to mitigate risk. The candidate is also responsible forenhancing the accuracy of the companys reported financial resultsand ensuring that reported results comply with generally acceptedaccounting principles or international financial reportingstandards. The candidate is also responsible for cash managementand risk management. andnbsp;
KeyResponsibilities Deliverables / Outcomes andnbsp;Managementand nbsp;Maintains and enforces a documentedsystem of finance policies and procedures andnbsp;Manage outsourced functions andnbsp;Oversee the operations of theaccounting department including the design of an organizationalstructure adequate for achieving the departments goals andobjectives andnbsp;
Operationsand nbsp;Ensure that accounts payable arepaid in a timely manner and nbsp;Ensure thatall reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable andnbsp;Ensure that accounts receivables arecollected promptly and nbsp;Process payrollin a timely manner and nbsp;Ensure thatperiodic bank reconciliations are completed andnbsp;Ensure that required debt payments aremade on a timely basis and nbsp;Maintain thechart of accounts and nbsp;Maintain anorderly accounting filing system andnbsp;Maintain a system of controls overaccounting transactions andnbsp;
Reportingand nbsp;Issue timely and complete financialstatements and nbsp;Coordinate thepreparation of the corporate annual report andnbsp;Recommend benchmarks against which tomeasure the performance of company operations andnbsp;Calculate and issue financial andoperating metrics and nbsp;Manage theproduction of the annual budget and forecasts andnbsp;Calculate variances from the budget andreport significant issues to management andnbsp;Provide for a system of management costreports and nbsp;Provide financial analysesas needed for capital investments pricing decisions and contractnegotiations andnbsp;
Complianceand nbsp;Coordinate the provision ofinformation to external auditors for the annual audit andnbsp;Monitor debt levels and compliance withdebt covenants and nbsp;Comply with localstate and federal government reporting requirements and taxfilings and nbsp; andnbsp;
