Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Billing Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate billing statements, monitoring project costs, and ensuring timely invoicing. This is a Junior level position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. The role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in billing or a similar role
  • Proficient in using billing software and tools
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of project management principles is a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Prepare accurate billing statements based on project documentation and contracts
  • Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure they align with approved budgets
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for billing
  • Prepare and submit monthly invoices to clients in a timely manner
  • Maintain billing records and documentation for audit purposes
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to project billing
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices related to project billing
