JobSummary: As a Senior JavaDeveloper you will be responsible for designing developing andmaintaining complex and scalable backend systems. You will play acrucial role in developing APIs microservices and data pipelines aswell as implementing event streaming solutions. Your expertise invarious Java frameworks will be essential in ensuring ourapplications are highperforming andreliable.

KeyResponsibilities:

Designdevelop test and maintain backend services and APIs using Java andSpringBoot.

Architectand implement microservices to ensure scalability and robustness ofapplications.

Createand maintain data pipelines to handle large volumes of dataefficiently.

Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and deliverhighquality softwaresolutions.

Participatein code and design reviews to minimize rework and catch issuesearly in theprocess.

Optimizeand improve the performance scalability and reliability of oursystems.

Conductcode reviews and contribute to best practices in softwaredevelopment.

Stayupdated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Javaand backend developmenttechnologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelorsor Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.

Strongexpertise in Java Spring Boot and other Springframeworks.

Provenexperience in developing RESTful and/or GraphQLAPIs.

Solidunderstanding of data pipeline architecture anddevelopment.

Architectand design leading solutions with a strong focus onsecurity.

    • Ableto keep testing first and having a in depth understanding ofautomated unit and functional testing and associatedtools/frameworks
    • Indepthunderstanding of Microservices Event streaming Data pipelines andassociated frameworks.
    • Strongdatabase programming skills preferably in both SQL and NoSQLDatabases.
    • Experiencewith Trouble shooting tools preferably with SplunkDatadog.
    • Ableto work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and achieve resultsamidstconstraints.
    • Deepunderstanding of best design and software engineering practicesdesign principles and patterns and unittesting.
    • Experiencewith containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and cloudplatforms(AWS).
    • Proficientwith version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CDpipelines.
    • Provenexperience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and projectmanagement tools (e.g.JIRA).
    • Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to articulate complextechnical concepts to nontechnicalstakeholder




Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in Javadevelopment, can work independently with minimal supervision. Havea solid experience in building java-based microservices, who candesign, code, implement, deploy independently as well as help teamof engineers in the future. Ideal candidates will have extensiveexperience in the following areas: Design and Build Cloud nativeplatforms in the standard Java stack, ideally on AWS Solidexperience in Spring Boot and associated frameworks in theecosystem Able to keep testing first, and having a in depthunderstanding of automated unit and functional testing andassociated tools/frameworks Hands-on experience using observabilitytools like DataDog, Splunk, etc.
