Job Description
Role: As a Specialist, you will work as an independent contributor, working across UI, backend, scripts and Databases.The individual must have a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.The individual will be responsible for their own work, and may also include client communication, System design, planning and meeting deadlines. Responsibilities: 1. Individual contributor, hands on development and execution2. Eye for details, adhere to software development guidelines and adopts best practices3. Collaborate and communicate with internal teams/ stakeholders/ customers4. Maintain, optimize existing software/solutions along with any new development5. Impetus on “doing it right”. We would be depending upon you to ensure “quality” is not compromisedJob Requirement Skills Required: o Expertise in application and API development using C# and .NET COREo Expertise in development of user interfaces using WPFo Experience working in MongoDB and MySQL databaseso Expertise in FIX protocol integrationo Experience working on Market Data Integration using vendor APIs like Bloomberg, etc.o Experience working in structured development and process-oriented environments including Continuous Integration & Test-Driven Development.o Solid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practiceso Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) requiredo Experience working in support projects using ticketing system (e.g., JIRA)o Experience using Repository systems (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps) Advantageous Skills: o Experience in Message Queue tools like ZeroMQ, etc.o Experience in Trading systems like Charles River, etc.o Experience working with custodians/ prime brokers/ fund admins Academic Requirements: o BE / MCA / BSc degree from a reputed Universityo At least 5+ years experiences in software development-
