Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and possess expertise in process safety studies, Hazop (Hazard and Operability Studies), ATEX (Atmosphères Explosibles), and PHA (Process Hazard Analysis). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our processes, facilities, and operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct Process Safety Studies:

Conduct thorough process safety studies to identify and assess potential hazards. Implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance process safety.

Hazop (Hazard and Operability Studies):

Lead and participate in Hazop sessions to identify potential deviations in processes and assess their consequences. Develop and implement recommendations to address Hazop findings.

ATEX (Atmosphères Explosibles):

Evaluate equipment and processes for compliance with ATEX directives. Implement measures to prevent the formation of explosive atmospheres and ensure the safety of equipment in such environments.

PHA (Process Hazard Analysis):

Facilitate PHA sessions to identify, evaluate, and control process hazards. Develop and implement recommendations from PHA studies to enhance safety protocols.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards related to process safety. Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international safety standards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to process safety studies, Hazop, ATEX, and PHA.

Training and Communication:

Provide training to personnel on process safety practices and procedures. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of safety measures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (B Tech). Proven experience in process safety engineering. In-depth knowledge and experience in conducting process safety studies, Hazop, ATEX, and PHA. Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
