PositionTitle: CPQ Developer
Reports to: ManagerSoftwareEngineering

PrimaryResponsibility:

Asa CPQ Developer at Maxcess you will design develop test and deployapplications that allow our users and customers to configureproducts we manufacture. You will work closely with businessanalysts and subject matter experts to understand the configurationrequirements. You work to migrate configurators to a globalplatform.

DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist businessanalysts in defining requirements for new configurators and updatesto existingapplications.

Analyze featurerequests research solutions and provide recommendations for customsolutions.

Provideestimates of work report progress and be accountable fordeadlines.

Able to work asan independent team member capable of applying sound judgment inplanning and executingtasks.

Developconfigurators in the Epicor CPQ (formerly KBMax) toolkit andmaintain configurators in otherplatforms.

Test debug andtroubleshoot new solutions and productionissues.

Optimize andmonitor applications to ensure performance andscalability.

Integrateconfigurators with other CAD manufacturing and business systems toimproveefficiency.

Write cleanwelldocumented and testablecode.

Write unit andintegration tests to validatedeliverables.

Provide andreceive feedback through regular codereviews.


SKILLSANDPROFICIENCIES

Proven trackrecord of creating productconfigurators.

Experience inJavaScript or other scriptinglanguages.

Handsonexperience with JSON XML and ancillarytechnologies.

Ability to read2D diagrams and 3D models and create configurators based onthem.

Excellentproblemsolving skills and attention todetail.

Exceptionalverbal and written communicationskills.

Experience withCADapplications.

Experience inCPQ configurators like Camos and EpicorCPQ.

Familiarity withERP software (Epicor OracleproALPHA).

Bachelor sdegree in software engineering computer science or related industryexperience.

5years of software development experience and 2 years of CPQdevelopmentexperience.
