Drivetrain Architect

A purpose driven role for you

Dimension and develop EV drivetrain and its integration in the complete automotive system. Technical lead responsible of defining and steering the project. Will define the required power levels and electrical/electronic/mechanical interfaces for a complete system integration. Will define the drivetrain architecture and generate drivetrain requirements, will own the drivetrain development and interface with component owners in automotive projects.

A Day in the life

● Lead development and integration of an EV drivetrain.
● EV drivetrain development and company standards generation.
● Support MBSE team to generate digital twin models for drivetrain simulation and validation
● Testing, validation and troubleshooting. RCA and development process.

Academic Qualification & Experience

M.Tech or PhD in Electrical Eng.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Wide experience and knowledge in EV drivetrain architecture.
Wide experience in EV drivetrain components developments: batteries, motor, motor controllers, VCU, etc.
Experience in testing and validation of EV drivetrain
Experience in dimensioning and definition of EV drivetrain to meet project technical targets.
Experience in thermal management and mechatronics design and interfaces.
Experience in HW and SW implementation of ISO26262 standard.
Experience in requirements management tools (DOORS, ALM, Jira).
Troubleshooting and RCA skills.
DFMEA, PFMEA analysis.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Hands on experience in Vector tools (CANoe, CAPL, CANalyzer).
Experience in HW integration and interface definition.
Experienced in teams coordination and project management.
Knowledge of PLM will be an added advantage.
DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis.
MATLAB and Simulink modelling experience and capability.
