What’s unique about this role?

The Software Development Engineer supports the Financial Business Systems team and assists the lead QuickBase developer with coding, testing, and maintaining software related to the Billing System, primarily within the QuickBase application. Working within a collaborative team, the Developer contributes to the creation of innovative and effective solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives, troubleshooting issues as they arise and tracking defect resolution.

This role requires support during US West coast time zone (Shift Timings: 8:30 pm to 5:30 am IST)

What will this person do?

Collaborate with senior developer, leads and reporting manager to interpret user needs and contribute to system design. Ensure integrity of data connections and verify data transfer and transformation for key billing deadlines Participate in developing and maintaining documentation for software components and processes. Understanding of billing system architecture and process flow to be able to independently troubleshoot and debug. Identify and resolve issues promptly; rapid turnaround is required during monthly close. Continuously learn and improve technical skills and stay current with QuickBase updates and rollouts. Perform manual integration testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities Ensure proper communication on risks to quality Adhere to best coding practices, coding standard. Perform other related duties as assigned

Able to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment Communicate clearly and succinctly written and verbally Possess superior problem-solving and analytical skills Able to follow architectural and design direction and feedback from peers and mentors faithfully Experience in the eDiscovery industry is a plus BS in Science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent work experience 4 years professional software development experience (Code Base is QuickBase) 3+ years of designing, developing and debugging applications 1+ year of recent Quickbase application administration and development experience Experience with QuickBase integration with external systems preferred Experience with MSSQL, Javascript, Jinja, and JSON

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting. Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
