The Operational Risk Management (ORM) team facilitates and monitors the implementation of effective operational risk management programs throughout the organization, and oversees risk ownership throughout business units, products, and processes.

The objective of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Process Risk Reduction team is to address identified systemic operational risks, to ensure the integrity and efficiency of business processes, and maintain the alignment of risk reduction efforts through well-executed risk mitigation and remediations activities.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring effective operational risk management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.

Key Responsibilities :

· Assist in coordinating with BUs to identify systemic Operational Risks (ORs) and prioritize them based on their potential impact on the enterprise

· Provide consultation on existing and new processes, focusing on design improvements to mitigate identified ORs

· Regularly monitor the execution of controls within business processes and conduct reviews of the control inventory to ensure they are effective and aligned with risk appetite

· Support cross-functional efforts to ensure that process risk reduction activities are consistent and coordinated across the organization, leveraging best practices and innovative risk mitigation strategies (e.g., using CoPs as a forum across BUs)

· Communicate progress and effectiveness of risk reduction initiatives to senior management and ensure alignment with the enterprise risk framework

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous 0-3 Years experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understands critical operational risk management lifecycle activities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively Excellent qualitative analytical skills Project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact and obtain buy-in from senior BU/tech counterparts
