Monday Friday hours between7:00am and 5:00pm with a 30 minute lunch

Job SpecificDetails and Tasks: The duties for the HCW includebut are not limited to the following:
* Providea full range of outcomebased nurse practitioner services inaccordance with privileges granted by the MTF (e.g. supervise andprovide general screening and medical care and examinations ofpatients for routine acute and chronic conditions involving any andall organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose treat andcounsel patients as indicated).
* Technicallydirect and teach other staff provide evidencedbased educationallectures and participate in inservice training to staffmembers
* Diagnose and treat patients with commonacute conditions chronic illnesses or minor trauma within acceptedprotocols clinical practice guidelines Nurse Practice Acts and/orin consultation with a physician.
* Promotepreventive care and health maintenance including annual physicalspositive health behaviors and selfcare through both formal andindividual education and
* Communicate andcollaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose ofinforming the healthcare team of plans/actions forteaching/education to benefit the patient/family andorganization.
* Recognize conditions that requireisolation and ensure universal precautions are used in all patientencounters.
* Attend staff meetings to providecase discussion continuing education and continuous qualityimprovement and safety.
MinimumQualifications:
*Education: Masters degree in Graduate from anacademic program within the nursing specialty field of study thatis accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agencyrecognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing(ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(CCNE).
* Experience:At least two years of clinical experience preferredto meet clinical competency requirements specified in theServicespecific credentialing instructions.
* Licensure:Current unrestricted RN license from anystate.
* Certifications:Certified in the specialty required by the TO as aNurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center(ANCC) American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or therecognized national nursing certification organization for thespecialty area of practice as appropriate (for example NationalCertification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and NursesAmerican Nurses Association National Certification Corporation forthe Obstetric Gynecologic and NeonatalSpecialties).
* Life SupportCertification: Current AHA or ARC BLSCertifications.
* Security:Must possess ability to pass a Government backgroundcheck/securityclearance.
