JD:
We are looking for an innovative solution architect to develop and implement systemsarchitecture that will meet business needs. The solution architects responsibilitiesinclude gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the currentsoftware systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, andoverseeing development teams. You should also be able to regularly update thecompany on any developments in systems architecture projects. Candidates whounderstand or have experience in the GovTech Line of Business have an addedadvantage. Experience working with teams on Cloud based architecture is preferable.
Responsible for Architecting and Designing a secure cloud platform based onindustry standards, best practices and guidelines. Help build an architecture that is scalable, performant, resilient, secure and costeffective Provide High level architecture, Design and oversee Implementation the cloudproducts based on best Practices Researches new technologies and products for their applicability to business needs. Coming up with technical standards for code and specifications for the design. Analysing integration aspects of various 3rd party products and coming up withintegration design and strategy. Review the current architectural landscape and make appropriate recommendations. Must be able to compare various solutions and determine the one which best fits theneed. Deliver on supervision and guidance to development teams. Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changeswhere needed. Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, andbudgets.
Education: A Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major inComputer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other relatedscientific or technical discipline. 3-5 years of work experience in the architecture and design
Experience: This position requires a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT industry At least 3 years of experience working with Architecture, design and implementationof systems and applications at Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud platform Experience writing process requirements, technical design documents, and standardoperating procedures. Experience collaborating with cross-functional global and remote teams with diversebackgrounds. Demonstrating good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong knowledge of software design principles and practices.
