Our Product Analytics team is looking for a Senior Analyst to help us uncover deep insight into our customer and user engagement across the product portfolio, and deliver relevant and measurable intelligence to Product leadership. Our goal is maturing the analytic capabilities of our product organization, and realizing what is possible with the incredible amount of business, user, and customer data New Relic generates.

As a motivated self-starter you will be able to work in a fast faced, ambiguous environment. Proven attention to detail and an extensive eye for business will allow you to work efficiently with business partners across Marketing and Sales, Product and Engineering to build business narratives and metrics for success. Additionally, you will define and test hypotheses, and deliver practical insights through data visualizations. You will succeed by having an eye on the big picture and being able to challenge the status quo. Ask the hard questions to ensure investment of time and resources is warranted. 

What you'll do Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, user behaviors and corresponding business impact to inform product development decisions. Utilize data science techniques and statistical methods to conduct exploratory analyses and develop predictive models that drive business insights and decision-making. Develop and maintain a balanced set of KPIs and performance metrics that assess the success of product initiatives, including product adoption, revenue impact, user and customer retention. Utilize various data analysis tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights from large datasets, covering both product usage and financial data. Create and present data-driven reports and presentations to stakeholders, demonstrating how product improvements positively impact the bottom line Stay current with best practices in data analysis and data science to make well-informed data-driven recommendations. This role requires Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field) and 8 years (min.) related work experience; or Masters degree in quantitative field and 6 years (min.) or PhD in quantitative field and 3 years (min.). 4 to 7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SQL and python for data analysis. Experience with data viz tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar Knowledge of basic data science methods - regression, classification, tree-based and time series methods. Strong technical knowledge of end-to-end analytics (building pipelines, data modeling, generating and synthesizing insights) Prior experience (min 2 years) in product analytics. Strong product and business intuition Ability to influence and up-level stakeholder requirements from ad-hoc requests to planned data products to have a scaled operational and strategic impact. Independently develop and execute on projects including wireframes for self-service dashboards, data reports, and ad hoc analytics capabilities. Strong project management skills - Independently execute, document, and communicate. Influence stakeholders and partners while requirement gathering, designing data models and presenting insights. Ability to storytell - distill complex nuanced findings into actionable and precise insights. Bonus points if you have

High familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Sagemaker, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, FiveTran, DBT

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Prior experience in data science with a track record of successfully deploying the work for business impact
