The Role

WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

  • Convert XD to wordpress
  • Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
  • Designing and building the website front-end in wordpress.
  • Good knowledge of Elementor plugin.
  • Responsive design (Screen & Device friendly)
  • Good knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Server Management (Domain setup, Staging website, Backups , file zilla, local server management)
  • Conducting WordPress training with the client.
  • Reporting any bugs issues
  • Providing technical support to designers in the web design process.
  • Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability

Ideal Profile

  • You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • You have at least 2 years experience, ideally within a Software Engineer role.
  • You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage projects.
  • Good communication skills.
