Senior Security Engineer 

The purpose of this role is to work in our Cyber Security Platform Team. The Application Security Engineer will help with designing, configuring and implementing a DevSecOps transformation. 

In this role you will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of business issues through regular engagement with stakeholders across all management levels within Maersk. You will work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network. Key responsibilities  

Be responsible for driving application security improvement from design through delivery and into operations through good practices and representing the importance and business benefit of Cyber Security Embedding Secure-by-Design and Secure Development Life Cycle principles with the development and delivery teams  Support and consult with product and development teams in the area of application security Articulate identified risk during development to development teams and help mitigate – advising on suitable, cost-effective security measures throughout development phases (Agile/DevOps) Guiding development initiatives on specific security questions by taking the lead on finding technical Cyber Security solutions Support arranging appropriate security assurance activities as required Support integration with Security Operations Center and Cyber Security alignment to other areas as required 

We are looking for  

Experience with application of Cyber Security within DevSecOps, with a good understanding of customer centric design principles and software development.  Experience identifying security issues through code review  Excellent knowledge and understanding of securing Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure) Working knowledge of Microservices including Container and Kubernetes security Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle including the required security checks  Hands on skills working with different Security Testing Tools in the Software Development Lifecycle including SAST, DAST and IAST. Good understanding of Security Frameworks and Standards such as ISO27001 and NIST  Good working knowledge of Threat Modelling including using STRIDE analysis and other frameworks  Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks Able to work in a collaborative environment Able to explain complex ideas in a concise manner Strong presentation skills High attention to detail Strong self-starting and can-do attitude Experience Strong passion for and solid security experience with technical Cyber Security experience, typically 5+ years Excellent knowledge of Security Architecture principles Experience of providing Technical consultancy within a Digital/Cloud setting is preferred 

Qualifications  

One or more Information Security Certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SCCP, Ethical hacking) are preferred A Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is beneficial but not mandatory
