The Team

Data Technology and Analytics uses innovative tools to analyze vast amounts of data to identify opportunities proactively or reactively for revenue enhancement, cost optimization, risk mitigation and strategic advice for our clients. The group specializes in electronic data sourcing, optimization, analysis, interpretation, prediction, and modelling.

We work as an extension of our Deloitte member firms’ analytics practices and provide dedicated support throughout the project lifecycle. Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network.

We also have an active international secondment program for our staff after they gain relevant experience, we believe this plays a crucial role in the overall career and personal development of our staff.

Work you’ll do

The FA Assets Center of Excellence is responsible for delivery of complex analytics solutions to help FA globally achieve clear differentiation and sustainable competitive advantage through improved decision making.

We are looking for ambitious analytics professionals who have a real passion for AI, analytics and delivering valuable insights, and who think differently about problems and solutions.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate across teams within FA as well as the wider firm. Designing and delivering data science solutions that embrace people, process, data and technology to realize the strategic outcome. 

As a Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects where you will:

Build and execute on a comprehensive AI strategy to support business objectives Leading, defining, designing, and developing AI and data science solutions Support the member firm and/or the client through the model development process Lead and/or work as part of a team to design, develop and test models taking into consideration various scenarios and sensitivities the model will be exposed to, to enhance our diverse range of clients’ analysis and decision-making process Be required to have strong business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solving

Qualifications

Bachelors/ Master’s degree from a reputed institute in Computer Science, Information Systems (STEM) or similar quantitative discipline. Preferably, Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science 12+ years of experience in Business Strategy, Data Science, AI with leadership roles Experience in client relationship management and scaling analytics teams

Skills Required

To be considered for the role, your competencies will cover the broad scope of analytics services, leveraging your professional background and skills such as:

In-depth knowledge of NLP, Transformer Models, Deep Learning techniques and programming languages such as Python, R. Dataiku / DataRobot / AWS Sagemaker Data Mining & Management / Predictive Analytics / Machine Learning / Optimisation / Business Rules Engines / Geospatial Analysis / Risk Scoring & Identification End to end analytics lifecycle project management and experience in developing AI driven assets Solid experience in developing and deploying of Machine Learning and Deep Learning models and techniques Cross-border, global experience in managing clients Knowledge of Generative AI models Databricks / SQL / Azure Data Lake / Azure Data Factory / Tableau / Power BI (good to have) Good understanding of the ETL framework and ability to build efficient ETL dataflows using ADF, MS SSIS, or Python (good to have) Experience with source control (git) and Azure DevOps (good to have) Generative AI and experience with MLFlow and other MLOps pipeline (good to have) Knowledge of existing and upcoming platforms and vendors in the market with and leveraging them creatively into wider business solutions (good to have)

This role will also leverage additional skills such as:

Ability to create advanced analytical models that are fit for purpose and scalable, to identify insightful trends and patterns from the data Experience in structuring, presenting, and communicating your work results Proficiency in English and overall communication Your Leadership & Professional Capabilities Ability to present complex business and technology problems and solutions in a simple form to address the level of audience from C-level, executive sponsors, and business owners to engineering and operational teams Strong appetite for innovation and emerging technologies Demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, create technical solutions with end users in mind, motivate and mobilize resources, as well as deliver results Flexibility in terms of working hours and working on multiple tools and technologies
