Solar Engineer

We are seeking an experiencedand highly skilled Solar Engineer to join our dynamic team. Theideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of handsonexperience in solar engineering with a strong background inelectrical engineering and a proven track record in designing andimplementing solar energy projects. This role mainly responsiblefor providing Solar PV design engineering throughout the entiredesign phase
of theproject.

KeyResponsibilities:

Draft and design commercial industrial and utility solar PV systemsusing AutoCAD and delivering complete design packages forconstructionand
installation.
Prepare conceptual design for ground mount systems (fixed tilt andsingleaxis tracking) and including site plans equipment layoutssingleline diagrams string sizing schedule bill of quantityetc.
Responsible for setting upand maintaining an organized file system for drawings related toCEIG Approvals
Providingtechnical support to other members of the team throughout theproject lifecycle.
Designinglarge scale PV project layouts SLDs PVsyst Report according to gridcompliance and permittingrequirements.
AC & DCWire Sizing and Groundingcalculation
Performing accuratesystem sizing calculations and detail solar resource assessment andenergy yield estimation.
Preparing detailed bills of materials based on systemspecifications.
Aligning withmanagement team to develop complete proposalpackages.
Evaluating plans orspecifications to determine technological commercial andenvironmental implications.
Recommending technical design or process changes to improveefficiency quality orperformance.
Reviewing solar PVdesigns test reports commissioning procedures quality documentsetc.

Requirements

EssentialQualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield.
  
• Minimumof 5 years of experience in solarengineering.
  
• Proficiencyin PVsyst or similar software for solar project simulation andanalysis.
