What does a successful Professional, Quality Assurance Engineering do at Fiserv?
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, the associate will perform acceptance testing activities by collaborating with multiple application teams that includes engaging in design sessions, creating test deliverables, performing test execution and logging defects. The associate will also report the testing status and escalate issues to test management.
Associate will be responsible to monitor and execute test activities for differently sized projects, if any automation scope is found. Will need to come up with design and code to implement the automation plan. Should be a great collaborator and efficient communicator with problem solving skillset.
What you will do:
Environment Support services for the specific Applications and related modules Preparing test data for unit testing, regression testing, system, and production parallel testing. Participate in daily status calls. Supporting batch Testing and resolving any technical issues faced. Document and communicate defects to the team and stakeholders. Support creation of the Test Plan artifact Working in rotational shiftsMorning shift - 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Afternoon shift - 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM Night Shift - 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
What you will need to have:
Strong experience in Mainframe environment, must be adept in TSO, ISPF, COBOL, JCL, DB2,VSAM, Endevor, File master . Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent Must have strong understanding of CA tools – CA7, CA-VIEW, etc… Knowledge of file transmission tools FTP/NDM. Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome. Good understanding of Payments and Banking domain and have worked on applications processing sensitive financial data. Candidate is required to have good technical analysis skills. Excellent communication skills.What would be great to have:
