The Clinical Reportingunit in GBS has seen a tremendous growth curve and has become anintegral part of the Global Clinical Reporting community in a shortspan of 67 years since its inception in 2011. The team is a dynamicmix of enthusiastic and qualified skilled Medical WritersDisclosure Associate Medical Writers Publishers and DocumentControllers with master/PhD in life sciences pharmacology medicineetc. The team is full of commitment passion skills and talent withbroad knowledge of different therapeutic areas and regulatoryrequirements for submissions. The team has an average experience of78 years in writing and reviewing regulatory documents andpublications. We use our scientific expertise to drive clear andimpactful communication on the conduct and outcome of clinicaltrials. Apart from writing and publishing regulatory documents theteam is also responsible for the distribution of documents (CONNECTportal) and largely contributes to NNs regulatory commitments bybeing involved in Public disclosure activities.
The Position
As an Associate Medical Writer you will ensure timelyclear and proactive communication and collaboration with thestakeholders and colleagues globally. Furthermore you willcommunicate across the time zones and in different professionalenvironments. This job requires good communication and analyticalskills. To meet timelines you must be good at planning your work beproactive when problems arise and seek help and advice fromrelevant people within GBS as well as within Head Quarters (HQ).Additionally you will challenge the expert contributors on theclinical documents where the quality of their written contributioncould be improved. You are entrusted to fulfill the followingresponsibilities:
Ensure timely clear andproactive communication and collaboration with the stakeholders andcolleagues globally.
You will contribute toprocess improvements knowledge sharing and skill building andmentor and train other Associate Medical Writers as needed. Youwill have to maintain good relationships with the stakeholders andcolleagues.
Responsible for meeting timelinesthe Associate Medical Writer must be good at planning their work beproactive when problems arise and seek help and advice fromrelevant people within GBS as well as within HQ.
You will challenge the expert contributors on theclinical documents where the quality of their written contributioncould be improved.
Qualification
You are expected to have the following skills andknowledge:
Graduate (PhD MSc. M Pharm orequivalent).
2 years of experience as anAssociate Medical Writer or other relevant workexperience.
Experience working within a globalsetting.
Experience in the pharmaceutical /CROindustry.
Strong understanding of externalrequirements related to regulatory documents.
Good communication skills.
Works independentlyon smaller tasks.
Strong analyticalskills.
Committed persistent andaccountable.
Able to plan and manage variableworkload.
