YOUR IMPACT
The global AWM Regulatory Management team acts as the key partner for the AWM business for regulatory matters. The team manages the regulatory strategy and roadmap for the AWM business providing coverage on global regulations and policies landscape. The team is responsible for reviewing the regulatory horizon, analyse upcoming regulations, assess impact to the business products, activities, investors/consumers and ensure a control framework is in place to ensure compliance.
Our team is seeking a professional who is looking to collaborate with stakeholders across the Reg Management Team and AWM. The role will present an opportunity to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
This is a highly interactive role and as such requires the capability to work effectively with a diverse range of professionals both internally and externally, covering a wide variety of products and functions Partner with teams across AWM to review and ensure a regulation framework pre and post go live for new Regulations Partner with AWM Business, Compliance and Legal to understand impact and timing of new Regulations Build a comprehensive understanding of the AWM Risk Framework, Firmwide Policies and Procedures Identify potential risks in operational processes; develop and implement controls to mitigate risk Analyse, suggest and execute process for period regulatory reviews Participate in Reg Control Audits and Assessments Interface with STO Monitoring and Testing for Controls / Monitoring / Reporting Managing relationships with key trading counterparts including performance metrics and issue trackingSKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years experience working in financial services Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment. Experience working in a global environment across an organization Excellent communication skills both written and oral Ability to diagnose and resolve business problems efficiently, effectively and collaboratively Ability to work closely with senior level team members and stakeholders to create consensus around plans, activities and measure strategic projectsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Attention to Detail Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Ability to Manage multiple deliverables and prioritize accordingly to meet completing deadlines Sound understanding of Risk – operational, reputational, client confidentiality Basic understanding of regulatory landscapeABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
