As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to adult patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

• MD or DNB in Internal Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice
• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in internal medicine
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in internal medicine

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories of patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and MRIs
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, including chronic illnesses and acute injuries
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medications, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists
• Provide patient education regarding medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, pharmacists, and specialists, to optimize patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment protocols and guidelines
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and treatment plans
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in internal medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical decision-making
