Key Responsibilities:

Virtual Engineering Strategy and Planning:

Craft and implement a cohesive virtual engineering strategy that encompasses stamping, gigacasting, and body engineering programs.

Champion the adoption and integration of Siemens Digital tools to build a robust and standardized virtual engineering framework.

Global Standardization and Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with regional teams to ensure that virtual engineering deliverables meet global standards and local needs.

Promote the exchange of best practices and drive the harmonization of virtual processes across all regions.

Digital Tools Mastery:

Ensure in-depth knowledge of Siemens Digital tools relevant to stamping, gigacasting, and body engineering, including CAD, CAE, and simulation software.

Manage the integration of these tools with existing systems to enable efficient and accurate virtual engineering workflows.

Virtual Deliverables Oversight:

Oversee the development and delivery of all virtual engineering deliverables, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and of high quality.

Implement effective project management practices to track progress, manage risks, and achieve deliverables in alignment with program goals.

Professional Development and Training:

Identify skill gaps within the team and develop targeted training programs for Siemens Digital tools and virtual engineering methodologies.

Encourage continuous professional development to maintain a highly skilled and knowledgeable virtual engineering team.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with key stakeholders, including engineering leads, IT specialists, production managers, and executives, to align virtual engineering efforts with broader organizational objectives.

Actively solicit feedback to refine and improve virtual engineering practices and deliverables.

Issue Resolution and Technical Support:

Lead the resolution of technical issues arising from virtual engineering activities and deliverables.

Establish a responsive support system to address and resolve challenges efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on program timelines.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of advancements in virtual engineering technology and industry trends.

Lead the team in embracing innovative solutions and continuously improving virtual engineering processes and tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Digital Deliverable Timeliness: Track the percentage of digital deliverables completed within the established timelines. Adoption Rate of Digital Tools: Monitor the rate at which teams adopt and effectively utilize Siemens Digital tools in their workflows. Cost Savings and Efficiency Gains: Measure the cost savings and efficiency improvements realized through digital tool implementation. Quality Metrics for Digital Outputs: Evaluate the accuracy and quality of digital deliverables against industry standards and project requirements. Training Completion and Effectiveness: Assess the completion rate and impact of training programs on team
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field, with an emphasis on manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related specialization. Significant experience in virtual engineering, particularly with stamping, gigacasting, and body engineering processes. Proficiency with Siemens Digital tools, including expertise in CAD, CAE, and simulation technologies. Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across various geographic locations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective global team collaboration and stakeholder management. Strategic and innovative thinking capabilities to translate digital engineering initiatives into operational success. A commitment to fostering a learning environment and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement.
