As aSr. Consultant specializing in Sun Solarie technology you will playa pivotal role in providing expert consulting services to ourclients guiding them through the process of implementing solarenergy solutions tailored to their unique needs and requirements.You will leverage your deep knowledge of Sun Solarie technology todesign implement and optimize solar energy systems that maximizeenergy efficiency and cost savings.
Roles And Responsibilities
SME Unix (Solaris)
Support Operations Projects
Worktimings: Rotational Shift with Weekend Oncall support.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience inSolaris to support and maintain Solarisbased systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot hardware components includingservers storage and network devices.
- Implementand manage virtualization technologies in Solaris such asContainers zones and LDOMs (Logical Domains).
- Diagnose and resolve system and softwarerelated issuesensuring minimal downtime and optimal systemperformance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to design implement and maintain Solarisbasedsolutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a subject matterexpert in Solaris.
- Strong knowledge of OracleSolaris SPARC hardware (M series and T series) and softwareconfigurations in Solaris environments.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex system issues andidentifying performance bottlenecks.
- Indepthunderstanding of Solaris virtualization concepts includingContainers zones and LDOMs.
- Experience withserver hardware configurations and network architecture.
- Experience in large environments on migrations and techrefreshes
- Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills.
